HAP SENG GROUP
An MCII member since inception, Hap Seng Group’s CSR mandate is to be a catalyst in improving education in rural areas through capacity building in Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and English. With MCII, the Group aims to assist in education needs and create a collective impact for urban B40 students in Klang.
One of the earliest MCII members, YTL Foundation was founded in 1997 on the belief that education is the basis on which every society progresses. Education moulds minds, inspires achievements and ultimately builds better societies and nations. By developing and improving education, YTL Foundation aims to empower individuals and communities to be catalysts of change.
OSK Group’s underlying CSR approach reflects their core thrust – development and welfare of individuals and communities that are underprivileged and disadvantaged by providing relevant resources and opportunities. They are committed to deliver better values and making the strongest impact possible based on three focus areas: Education, Community Development and Environment.
At KLK Group, they believe that doing business in a sustainable manner goes in tandem with Corporate Responsibility (“CR”). Their CR initiatives organised under KLKCare, are based on four focus areas namely: Education, Community, Environment and Employees.
HONG LEONG FOUNDATION
A member since MCII’s establishment, Hong Leong Foundation believes in enabling and empowering people to lead productive lives so that they can be alleviated from poverty and have a better quality of life. This can be achieved by the Group’s interest and passion centred on two pillars: Education & Community Development.
